About

I teach courses in disciplinary writing, including professional communication, technical writing,
and writing in the health professions. My research focuses on communication strategies and
how writing organizes work in different environments. I received my PhD from Kent State
University in Literacy, Rhetoric, and Social Practice and both my MA and BA from the University
of Dayton.
