Katelyn Lusher teaches AIQS writing courses in the UGER program. Her background is in Rhetoric & Composition. She is an alum from Siena Heights University (BA, 2013), Kent State University (MA, 2017), and University of Cincinnati (PhD, 2022). Her research and pedagogy focus on social justice, housing advocacy, and activism. As a PhD student, she created a digital archive for Cincinnati’s street paper, Streetvibes, which was the focus of her dissertation (https://streetvibesarchive.net/). When she is not teaching, she volunteers with the Northeast Ohio Coalition for the Homeless (NEOCH), and enjoys foraging for wild plants, embroidery, and reading anything she can get her hands on.
